Booking & Quotes

How do I book an inflatable or entertainment item?

Booking with SA Inflatables is easy. Browse our range of jumping castles, water slides, Wipe Out, foam parties, carnival games, obstacle courses and other event entertainment, then contact us for a quotation.

To prepare your quote, we may need your name and contact details, event date, venue and address, type of event, entertainment items required, event times and any special requirements.

Once you are happy with your quotation, we will provide the information required to confirm your booking.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays and peak periods.

Popular attractions can book up quickly. Last-minute bookings may still be possible depending on availability.

How do I secure my booking?

A quotation does not automatically reserve equipment.

Your booking is confirmed once the required payment has been received and SA Inflatables has confirmed the booking.

Can I change my booking after I have made it?

We will always try to accommodate changes where possible.

Changes to equipment, dates, times or venues are subject to availability and may affect the quotation.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

Delivery & Setup

Do you deliver?

Yes. SA Inflatables provides delivery and collection services for our equipment.

Delivery charges depend on the event location, equipment being hired and logistics involved.

Please provide your full venue address when requesting a quote so that we can calculate the correct delivery cost.

Do you set up the equipment?

Yes. Where setup is included in your booking, our experienced team will deliver and set up the equipmentand dismantle it after the event.

How much space do I need?

Every inflatable and attraction has different dimensions.

You need enough space for the equipment itself as well as suitable clearance around it for safe access, anchoring and operation.

If you are unsure whether you have enough space, provide us with the dimensions of your available areaand we can help you choose suitable equipment.

Can you set up on grass, paving or concrete?

Many of our inflatables can be installed on suitable grass and hard surfaces, depending on the equipment and anchoring requirements.

The suitability of the surface will be assessed before setup.

Can you set up indoors?

Yes. Some of our attractions can be used indoors.

The venue must have sufficient floor space, ceiling height, access and suitable electrical supply.

Power, Generators & Extension Leads

Do inflatables need electricity?

Yes. Most of our inflatables require continuous power to operate their blower motors.

A suitable electrical supply must be available at the venue unless a suitable generator has been arranged.

Can SA Inflatables supply a generator?

SA Inflatables does not supply or hire out generators.

We prefer to leave generator supply to professional generator specialists who are experienced in providing the correct equipment for events.

However, we are happy to calculate and specify the generator size required for the equipment you arehiring from us.

If you require assistance sourcing a generator, we can also help point you in the right direction.

Can I use my own generator?

Yes, provided it is suitable for the equipment being operated.

If you are unsure whether your generator is large enough, provide us with the generator specifications andthe equipment you are hiring and we can advise you on the required power capacity.

Do the inflatables come with extension leads?

Yes.

Every inflatable includes a free 20-metre extension lead as part of the rental.

Additional extension requirements may depend on the venue layout and distance from the electrical supply.

Can I run multiple inflatables from one generator?

Potentially, yes.

The required generator capacity depends on the number and power rating of the blower motors being operated.

SA Inflatables can calculate the total power requirement and specify the appropriate generator capacity for  your equipment.

Jumping Castles

What ages can use a jumping castle?

The recommended age and user capacity depends on the specific jumping castle.

We have different sizes and designs suitable for different age groups.

Children should always use the equipment according to the safety instructions supplied with the specific inflatable.

Can adults use your jumping castles?

Yes. Selected jumping castles are suitable for adults as well as children.

This depends on the design, size and intended use of the particular inflatable.

If you want a castle that adults can use, let us know when requesting your quote and we can recommend suitable options.

Are your larger inflatables suitable for teenagers and adults?

Yes. We have a range of larger and more robust inflatables designed for older children, teenagers and adults.

Our team can recommend suitable equipment based on the age and number of participants.

Can jumping castles be used with water?

Only inflatables specifically designed for water use should be used with water.

Our water-compatible inflatables and water slides are designed for wet use. Standard dry jumping castles should not be converted into water attractions.

Water Slides

Do I need a water connection for a water slide?

Yes.

Water slides require a suitable water supply.

The amount of water required can vary depending on the size and type of slide.

A suitable tap and hose connection should be available close to the setup area.

Do you offer dry slides as well?

Yes.

We offer both dry and water-based slide attractions, depending on the event and available space.

Can water slides be used without water?

Water slides should be operated according to their intended design.

If you want a dry attraction, ask us about our dry slide options.

Wipe Out & Interactive Attractions

Do you hire Wipe Out?

Yes.

SA Inflatables offers Wipe Out as part of our range of interactive inflatable entertainment.

Wipe Out is ideal for parties, schools, corporate events, festivals and team-building activities.

Is Wipe Out suitable for adults?

Yes, depending on the specific attraction and package.

Wipe Out is particularly popular for teenagers, adults, corporate events and team-building activities.

Do you offer foam machine hire?

Yes.

SA Inflatables offers foam machines ranging from small foam machines for private parties to largeindustrial foam machines for major events.

The correct machine depends on the size of the foam area, number of guests and type of event.

Which foam machine do I need?

There is no one-size-fits-all foam machine.

We have different machines and packages depending on the size of your event.

Tell us the approximate number of guests and the size of the area you want to cover and we canrecommend the appropriate machine.

Do you offer inflatable foam pits?

Yes.

We offer packages that include an enclosed inflatable foam pit, creating a dedicated foam-play area.

These packages are particularly popular for children's parties and events where you want to contain thefoam in a designated area.

Can I hire a foam machine without a foam pit?

Yes.

Depending on your event, you can hire the foam machine and create your own suitable foam area, or choose one of our foam-pit packages.

Can I operate the foam machine myself?

Yes.

Our foam machines are designed to be straightforward to operate.

We do not automatically supply an operator, but an operator can be requested and we will provide aseparate quotation if you would prefer professional assistance.

Carnival Games

Do you hire carnival games?

Yes.

SA Inflatables offers a range of carnival games and interactive attractions.

These can include:

We also offer carnival game packages for events requiring multiple games.

Do carnival games include an operator?

No.

Our carnival games are designed to be easy enough for the client or event staff to operate themselves.

However, if you require an operator, you can request one and we will provide a separate quotation.

Do carnival games include prizes?

No.

Prizes are supplied by the client.

This allows you to choose prizes that suit your event, age group and budget.

Safety, Cleaning & Hygiene

Are your inflatables safe?

Safety is extremely important to us.

Our equipment is regularly inspected and maintained, and our team follows appropriate setup procedures.

Users must follow the safety rules supplied with each attraction.

Are your inflatables cleaned and sanitised?

Yes.

We take hygiene seriously.

Our inflatables and equipment are cleaned and sanitised as part of our maintenance and preparation process.

Do I have to clean the inflatable before you collect it?

No.

You do not need to clean the inflatable before we collect it.

Our team handles the cleaning and sanitising of the equipment after the event.

We do ask clients to ensure that prohibited items, rubbish and personal belongings are removed from the equipment before collection.

Are face paint, body paint or colour powder allowed on inflatables?

No. Face paint, body paint, coloured powder, Holi powder and similar colouring products are not permitted on our inflatables.

These products can transfer onto and permanently stain the PVC material. They can also damage theinflatable and may be extremely difficult or impossible to remove.

If colouring cannot be removed through normal cleaning, the client may be charged for the cost of cleaning, repairs, panel replacement or replacement of damaged sections of the inflatable, depending on the extent of the damage.

To protect our equipment and ensure it is ready for the next customer, please keep all face paint, bodypaint, colour powder and similar products away from our inflatables.

Can food and drinks be taken onto jumping castles?

No.

Food, drinks, sharp objects, shoes and other items that could damage the inflatable or cause injury shouldnot be taken onto the equipment.

What happens if there is strong wind or bad weather?

Safety comes first.

Inflatables must not be operated when weather conditions make their use unsafe.

If severe weather, strong winds, lightning or heavy rain creates a safety risk, the equipment may need to be stopped or deflated.

Our team will make the final decision regarding safe operation.

Equipment Damage & Care

What happens if the inflatable is damaged during my event?

Please notify us immediately if you notice any damage.

Normal wear and tear is different from damage caused by misuse, negligence, sharp objects, animals, vandalism, prohibited items or colouring products.

The client may be responsible for repair, panel replacement or replacement costs where damage has resulted from misuse, negligence or prohibited products.

Do I need to clean the equipment before collection?

No.

SA Inflatables handles the cleaning and sanitising of the equipment after collection.

Do the prices on your website include VAT?

All prices displayed on the SA Inflatables website are exclusive of VAT.

VAT will be added to your quotation where applicable.

Delivery, operators and other additional services will also be clearly shown on your quotation.

Is delivery included in the rental price?

Delivery is generally calculated separately.

The cost depends on the event location, equipment and logistics required.

Please provide your full event address when requesting a quote so we can calculate the correct delivery cost.

Are there any hidden costs?

We believe in transparent quotations.

Your quotation will clearly show the equipment, rental period, delivery and any additional services or charges applicable to your booking.
